El Massaya Arak is a traditional Lebanese spirit, meticulously crafted from indigenous Obeidi grapes. The production process involves triple distillation of the grapes, which is followed by blending with uncrushed aniseed sourced from the Syrian slopes of Mount Hermon. After distillation, the arak is aged in clay jars for 12 to 18 months, imparting a distinct flavor and maturity to the spirit. Best served chilled, it is often enjoyed with water, transforming it into a milky, refreshing drink that is perfect for warm weather​
