Trabocchetto is a pure expression of Montepulciano from selected vineyards in the Colline Pescaresi area. It often displays an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is complex with notes of ripe red fruits like cherries and plums, black pepper, and hints of cocoa, vanilla, and licorice from oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied, well-structured, with soft, velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish.
